Our Doctors

Dr. John G. Ricketson

As physicians, we realize that each patient puts her faith and trust in us. We, therefore, strive to provide quality health care and to treat our patients like family members. Each phase of a woman's life requires special knowledge. It is our goal to provide current information and support in each of these phases, whether it involves a complicated pregnancy, menopause management or general health issues. We stress preventive care as well as prompt attention to emergency situations. We do our best not to let the patient down. Our priority is to be prompt, courteous and accommodating to our patients' needs. We have always considered it an honor and a privilege to participate in the birth of a new life. Each delivery is SPECIAL and never just routine. We are grateful to our patients for allowing us to be a part of their health care needs. Through our knowledge and concentrated efforts, we hope we can make a positive difference in their lives.

Dr. Gilbert S. Klemann (Retired)

When I was released from the Army in 1975, I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to live in Southwest Georgia. My family and I rapidly decided this was where we wanted to spend our lives. I have been practicing here ever since. I feel that I bring a true perspective of what is needed in our area. I have had the chance to see how medicine is practiced in other parts of the world, and I can say with authority we practice world class medicine here. I am particularly interested in peri- and post menopausal medicine, and still enjoy delivering babies after 25 plus years. I am well trained and am interested in laparoscopy, infertility, and the treatment of endometriosis. I can provide endometrial ablation when indicated. I feel our group can provide the services which will be needed in this community as Albany becomes the true center of Southwest Georgia. I look forward to serving you in this capacity.
